Soap Planer

I use this planer to bevel my soaps as well. I just place the bar at an angle and run it over the blade. Super easy and fast.

The planer is made out of pine boards. Each planer is hand sanded and routed for a smooth rounded finish. The blade is 4″ wide.

The planer is a bit longer then some you may find on the market and we do this for a reason. Not all soaps are short. I wanted you to be able to plan your whole bar without fear of it slipping off the other side.

Each planer is hand crafted. The blade is positioned to remove the least amount of soap and give a clean finish to your bar. The blade is stainless steel and very sharp. Please use caution when using this product.

There are absolutely no refunds or exchanges on planers.

Please note these are not designed to plane soaps that are cured. We recommend to plane soaps within 2 week of cutting. If your soap recipe makes a hard bar of soap you can plane within 24 hours of cutting.

How to clean:
I recommend to use a damp cloth to remove any soap residue. Do not submerge the planer in water as it can cause the wood to warp and not perform as needed. You can apply a small amount of oil to the blade every few months to help ensure it will never rust.
